9 Signs of Spiritual Maturity - Kindness

Galatians 6:2 (NCV) By helping each other with your troubles, you truly obey the law of Christ.

Psalm 112:55 It is well with the man/woman who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.

Do you see someone discouraged, needing a bit of cheer today?
Then go on, share the Lord, Giving them hope along the way.
Kindness has God-given power To uplift one's burden and care.
Tis a candle in their dark night, Dispersing love's light here and there.
Kindness loans strength to the weary, rekindling that flame flick'ring low.
It beams sunshine to the dreary and on the face an afterglow.
Kindness is casting out God's bread, for it shall come back to us one day.
Someday we may need to be fed and in kindness, someone will pray.

Have you noticed that it is SO much easier to be kind to others that are kind to US? Are similiar to US? Like the same things WE do? I have :) It may little harder when those who may be rude at times, have different ways of thinking, different lifestyles, different attitudes than ours. Christ is the TRUE example of kindness.. Have you noticed that HE EVEN WENT OUT OF HIS WAY to go to those who were hurting because they were different, didn't know His Father and were suffering because they didn't know God. What an example to STRIVE for?:) Striving is what he expects from us - not perfection. How can we be kind to others today?


FATHER GOD - PLEASE BE WITH US, ESPECIALLY ON DAYS THAT WE FEEL PRESSURED AND TORN, TO NOTICE OTHERS' NEEDS. REMIND US THAT A LITTLE KINDNESS AND COMPASSION TOWARDS OTHERS CAN GO A VERY LONG WAY. HELP US TO "GET OUT OF OURSELVES" AND HELP OTHERS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND LOVE TO US, YOUR CHILDREN. AMEN.
